Wishing Weeds

This is one photo, but the photo on the bottom is cropped and zoomed in. I used to love making wishes on these as a kid. I guess I have grown up somewhat, because the only thing I could think of when I saw these scattered on the ground beneath me were ideas for amazing photographs! 🙂

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge

These two photos are among the very first photos I every took with a DSLR camera. They were a part of my motion project in my first digital photography class at SUNY Oswego. I thought it might be fitting to use them in my first weekly entry to Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge.
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Isolated Subjects

Here’s my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Isolated Subjects. The top image (which I’ll call Fallen Flower) I took today, in my hometown as part of my most recent obsession with floral photography. The middle image (A Surviving Leaf) was taken in the fall of 2015 as part of a landscape photography course I took at SUNY Oswego, which is right on Lake Ontario. Oswego experiences every kind of lake-effect weather, during the year, but the extremely strong wind is something that we are known for year-round. The bottom photo (A Passing Plane) was taken on my trip to Boston in the spring of 2015 on a day that saw not one ray of sunshine.
