Here is my flower of the day for today! Lilacs blooming in my neighbor’s yard! Unfortunately these lilacs had wilted within a few days of this picture, but they were still beautiful to look at!

Here is my entry for this week’s One Word Photo Challenge with the theme of Frame. Two of these photos are ones that I love the actual framing of (the top photo of the sunset, which was taken with my iPhone, and the bottom photo which focuses on one of SUNY Oswego’s goalies.) The middle photo is both framed well, and actually encompasses an actual “frame” within the frame.

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: Random Rock

Here’s my stand-alone entry for this week’s edition of Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge. I love this photo, which is of an oddly placed cement block with a hole in the center on a path down to the shore of Lake Ontario.

Here is my entry for this week’s edition of Nancy Merrill’s A Photo a Week Challenge, themed Golden Hour. Although these were taken on my iPhone and not with my DSLR (so the quality isn’t as good) these are still some of my favorite photos of the sunsets I saw on Lake Ontario while at SUNY Oswego.

This is my entry for this week’s edition of Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge! This is one of my favorite photos, so I decided to use it alone for this week’s challenge!

Tuesday Photo Challenge: Street

A Street With a ViewTree Shadows and Tree Remnants

Here is my entry for this week’s Tuesday Photo Challenge with the theme of Street. These are three different streets, in three different years (from top to bottom they were taken in 2017, 2016, and 2015 respectively), with three different appreciations of streets. The top photo has a beautiful cherry tree blooming next to it, so let’s call that one “A Street with a View.” The middle one I appreciate because it shows the presence of trees without showing the trees (the acorn shells strewn all over the street), but I also love shadows. (“Shadows and Remnants” is what I would title that one.) The last one brings together my childhood love of puddles with my current love of photography, fall, and nature (and of course any combination of the three!) We’ll call this one, “Pretty Puddles.”

This is my entry for this week’s edition of The Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge – Evanescent. These photos are sentimental to me because they were taken during my last time at the lake to see one of the famous sunsets that SUNY Oswego students rave about. They carry even more value though, because I was there with one of my very best friends, who I had met my freshman year and who I am still friends with today (a year after graduation!)
